Pet Talk

The book highlights several traits in the children featured as the main characters of the story. Namely that for one reason or another, these group of four friends who call themselves “The gang of geeks”, Emily, Roz, Dave and Toby, each could be considered as not being one of the ‘cool kids’ at school.

Being somewhat studious, maybe a bit of a loner, quiet, dressing differently or just ‘looking’ differently, shouldn’t attract attention or comment from anyone.

The story rather seeks to amplify the message that what you are inside, and your own self-worth should not be measured or compared to what you look like or your behaviour in certain social circles.

Having written about it within the pages of my book “Pet Talk” I now actively seek to promote these qualities when I visit schools.
